I was wondering if it was possible to build an events listing, event detail and then an RSVP form on the detail page where users could rsvp to the event. Is something like this possible with K2?

Using 2.2 you could
create category for events
create items for events
show all the listings with k2 menu item
use the attachments within each item to attach a pdf RSVP or
include a link in the item text with a link to a form on your site for email

What about a module to show upcoming events? A calendar would be nice also
