Does K2 have a standard 'latest articles' module like the standard Joomla one?

You use k2_content and configure it for what you need such as latest news, most popular etc etc.

Rudy,

If you go to to module manager - k2_conntent - perameters you will see an option for item ordering.

Select the Most Recent First option.

Above this is a place to set a limit on the number of items listed.
