I have been attempting to use the JW Tabs and Slides plugin to 'hide' the Comments and Extra Info blocks within k2. I wanted an area title, e.g. View Additional Information, that when clicked would show the Comments and Extra Info block using the slide transition. Instructions for how I did it are attached, effect can be seen at

Slide Comments

Scroll down the page until you see the View Additional Information and View/Add Item Comments, click on either/both of those links and see how it works. To do the following you MUST have the JWTS Tabs and Slides in content items installed. It can be downloaded here:

www.joomlaworks.gr/content/view/15/42/

Hope it's useful to someone out there in k2 land

I've updated the attached text file with an extra comment to make it easier to use... you MUST change the paths to the js files to suit your site ESPECIALLY line 6 (import directive) in the attached file.

Hey William, nope, I tried that and k2, or something strips the code. If you download the attached text file you'll see what needs to be done.

Hey Titus, not sure what your comment means, but thanks for posting it anyway... I was merely trying to find a way to 'hide' the display of some of the k2 divs. The example shown uses the JW Tabs and Slides slide function, tabs would be just as simple and a simple CSS class or styling to the link could make it look however you wanted.

Great idea Titus, seem to have less 'problems' with JQuery in Joomla than Mootools? just a thought

I can use both js frameworks, but mootools is native and should be used.

If you want to use JQuery anytime take a look on this plugin:
