problem when copy website was created by ofer melnik
Hi,I want to move from one server (ipower.com) the another one (godaddy.com) .
I had backup my website and restored it on the new one (my VPS on godaddy)
everything went OK (few things i had to fix, all of them are cache problems).
I now have problem with K2 , not everything is working now .
some of the pages i can't see, and thouse pages are K2 articles.
when i go to administrator and try to disable few things like:
when i go to categories, and then check one of the category -
on the right side of the screen i have the parameters, i tried to hide the "related items" (only to see if this cause the problem) under "item view options".
and when i applied it, it gives me en error on the screen:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_internal_encoding() in /home/gobulls/public_html/gobulls/administrator/components/com_k2/tables/k2category.php on line 49
on the original website (the website i'm copy from), everything is OK .
Please advise .
P.S.
as i mention, the problems i had with the copying process was about caching, is there anything similar to this in K2 that i need to disable, change or delete ? any code i need to change ?

Ofer, did you perform the backup and transfer by a dedicated utility like JoomlaPack. I would not recommend an FTP download and upload. I used to use FTP download and upload but had too many problems. I would recommend installing JoomlaPack and using it to transfer your site. I use it all the time and have had no issues.

Well, the problem is in the server .
I tried new install to check if it's working .
I have a VPS acoount on godaddy.com
I'm the administrator for this account.
I have looked at this discussion:
community.getk2.org/forum/topics/fatal-error-warning-1
And i do not know where should i change this.
Does anyone have a VPS on godaddy (Cpanel) and can help with this issue ?
Thanks in advance
Ofer
