I have seen the Zoo apps and I liked some of them,they look useful.Is the K2 team going to make something similar???

Could you specify this a little more plz ?

i like this apps of zoo: Product Catalog,Movie Database,Documentation,Business Directory,Cookbook
and i like the idea of zoo blog the multi category

zoo is the way to go. I'm actually sort of hating on K2... Zoo is not free though, but ZOO 2 is fabulous. I'm stuck with k2 until i can set up zoo and transfer all my K2 data into zoo (which is going to be an incredible pain...)

zoo have choice to import k2 or joomla items but give me that msg "Error Importing (Not a valid XML file)"

you can do all this with K2 too.

k2 don't have add one item in multi category

After doing a good testing with zoo,I concluded that the privilege of having multi category ends up to be the biggest flaw on the search of zoo items.In example,we have the main category "News" and two sub-categories "music" and "cinema" and one item which we have added in both sub-categories.The right path when is going to be searched is mywebsite.com/news/music/my-zoo-item or /cinema/my-zoo-item
Because it has the option multi category in search it gives you as result this www.myweb.com/component/zoo/item/my-zoo-item :(
So I don't think that anyone would want his items to look like this when he is searching the result to find something specific. :(
