Hi,thanks for this great product.I am new to Joomla and was wondering why isn't there any submit new item menu, like the new article submission joomla core menu item.I guess it would be better for authors to have a separate page to add new items from the front end.Cheers

Set the paramaters in K2 to allow front end editing
Set up a k2 user group that has permissions to add and edit items
Put the user in that group
Login as the user, and now you can submit new content from the link just below the login

Thank you for that reply but could you tell me how could I add this Item if I want use core joomla menu (not K2 login module). There is no K2 user group permissions.
Do you have some other authentic solutions?

I concur with the original poster's request.

 

William - thank you for repeating the steps to enable front end posting, but that misses the point of the feature request.  The point is to isolate the Add New Item as an independent menu item and display it separate from the account management pane of the login module.
