I have following problem:

In the front end, if I try to attach a file with htm extension, the file is uploaded but the extensions becomes htm.txt.

 

Any idea?

in the field of illegal mime types I have text/html, but I cannot delete it.

Do you know why?

I have also just done this test:

in Joomla global configuration I have changed the field Illegal MIME type as text/htmlx and add text/htm and Text /ahtml in the Legal MIME type field,  but it doesn't work.

 

I think it is not allowed to upload htm or html file in k2 item, but I would a confirm

I agree with you but there are other users that want to add htm file in K2 item ...even if it is a bad idea.
