Hi Guys, 

 

I'm having issues when I link any K2 article to Facebook!  It simply does not show thumbnails at all! It shows the title and description... but no image! 

 

I've been searching for a while now and finally found where the problem is.... it's to do with where K2 places the image file.

 

When I "lint" the webpage ( via:http://developers.facebook.com/tools/lint/ ) it shows me that the url is adding the first part of my address! 

So facebook thinks images are here:   hostsphere.co.uk/http://hostsphere.co.uk/media/k2/items/cache/fc1da7257992fc36032e11db3df7a664_M.jpg

instead of being here: 

hostsphere.co.uk/media/k2/items/cache/fc1da7257992fc36032e11db3df7a664_M.jpg

 

Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this issue??  I'm at my wits end! 

 

Just to clarify the image shows perfectly on the site... it's purely when I try to share the link on facebook!

Other NON-K2 pages work correctly when I link them on facebook... so I know it's a K2 issue!

A little bump.... as it's almost been a month with no answer.... and this thread may have got lost with tons of others.

Alex, i know if you place the following meta tag in your template_folder/index.php file it will pull that image for sure:
