I have read a lot of postings about this on K2 and from just searching google.  BUT I still cannot resolve my issue. 

 

I want to have one article always remain on top of my Blog and the other articles that I post post in order most recent. 

 

I just began by trying to change the category item layout params but that didnt work. Then I tried changing the dates of the items. again - not working.

 

Anyone have any Ideas.  The website is www.philmcwilliamsmusic.com

 

I want "WECOME" to always appear on top.  Then every other article fall below.

Why dont you try putting a com_k2_content module in your user1 position with reference to only one item "WELCOME"  and see if that may work
