no matter that Latest items from author option is hidden every single were, i still get them in the artilcle.

 

such a simple thing, very frustrating.

 

the only way to get rid of it is by manually hiding it on each article, but it does not work at al category level.

 

is this a bug or am i getting a little stupid?

Are you absolutely sure that you are looking to the right category parameters? Maybe you have the inherit option on and the parameters are load from another category.
