I want to add an article/item to the front page of my site as a welcome message for guests without it having all the "extra info" like author, date published etc. I also want it to not show to registered users, which I've accomplished with the "hider" plugin.

is there a way to do this??

I'm definitely NOT a programmer, so the "dummies version" would be best for me. :)

This is my first time using K2, so I guess that makes me a K2 Super Novice/Newbie.

Hider Plugin? which one.....what does it display?

To get ride of the extra display with K2 you should go to the Item View Options on the right and turn everything you want to show to "Hide"

the hider plugin lets you put a "tag" in your article/item to show/hide whichever parts you want depending on the users status.

I guess I should have looked at the options.
