hai admin i am really interested to use k2 component but i am facing some problem.

while testing this component on local host i am not facing any problem but while testing on online server then it cant create any categories and cant import any joomla article.Rather it shows the problem

 

" Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_regex_encoding() in /home/blogalap/public_html/test/administrator/components/com_k2/tables/k2category.php on line 88 "

 

i have gone through many forums as like as Your one but i did not get any solution rather i came to know the problem hapens when mb_regex does not on server.After that i called to my server administrator to enable this but they told that it is already installed.And i checked it and its true

What i  need to do at this monent . please help me with some solid solution and how can i do it. thank you.

Go to your k2 component dashboard and check the information link....see if it says enabled

This is usually a hosting problem...how did you verify it
