Started with K2 recent. I'm looking for a way to put the main image left from the title. Is it possible, do I need a specific template or can it be done in the K2 template.

First you need to create a K2 override, read here. Then all you have to do is to edit the item.php an relocate the blocks. Move the image block before the itemHeader, for example or inside the itemHeader, but before the itemTitle, and so on. You will probably have to edit the CSS file also.

Inside the templates/default/item.php in templates/Your template/html/com_k2/.

It worked outfine, thanks a lot. Php is new for me (trial and error). I still have to edit the CSS.

 

I also wanted it for the category_item view, but that doesn't seem to work. I moved CatItemImageblock before CatItemheader but then my total layout disappears and only the header stays. Can you tell me what's wrong?

 

 

Check if you have left any tags open or an if that closes to the wrong place.

It worked!, installed another editor, Notepad++, cut and paste and ready. Thanks a lot again!!!
