I have created a parent category with two subcategories and structure as follows:

 

 


Subcategory 1

               Subcategory 1.1

                                       K2 Items

               Subcategory 1.2

                                       K2 Items

               Subcategory 1.3

                                       K2 Items

I wish to show subcategory blocks without item view listings and only show item listings within the last corresponding sub(sub)(sub)(sub)category. This is ok for me.

 

But I also want to display subcategory blocks (e.g. Subcategory 2.2) in TWO COLUMNS instead of one, which I am unable to do although I have set my Parameters for Category View Options as follows:

             Sub-category blocks: Show

             Columns: 2



Does anyone know what I may be doing wrong? This is driving me crazy...

For your first request you need to put to the parent category the parameter to not fetch any items. Then to the last category you want to actually show the items, just put the parameters to show the items.

 

Now, for your second request, check your css, maybe something overrides K2 css. If you could provide a link to your site, maybe I could tell you what is wrong.
