Error: Class 'K2Table' not found in k2user.php

Hi guys!

I searched for help in the forum, but didn't find a solution yet... I use Joomla v2.5.7 (with Community Builder v1.8.1). I upgraded K2 from v2.5.7 to v2.6.1 and all my registered visitors got that fatal error ("Fatal error: Class 'K2Table' not found in xxx/administrator/components/com_k2/tables/k2user.php on line 13").

If I clear my browser's cache and cookies the site works as intented. But the error can be reproduced with the following three steps:

1.) Check the box "Remember Me" and log in.
2.) Close your browser while being logged in.
3.) Open your browser and visit the site again. The error message appears again.

I can get rid of that error again and again by clearing my browser's cache and cookies as stated above. But that error will come back after closing my browser while being logged in. For me it seems like an error with the cookies... A new install of the version 2.6.1 didn't help. Any idea how to fix that? Thanks in advance!

Hi. Just tested and i cannot reproduce the issue. Are you using mod_login, mod_k2_user or mod_cblogin to perform the login?

I user mod_cblogin (the login module of the Community Builder). The other two (mod_login and k2_user) are un-published...

Not yet, since I think it's a bug of K2. With version 2.5.7 of K2 it works as intended. I will try to reorder my system plug-ins ( this thread gave me an idea) and report back then.

Same issue here with same error in log.
After a user has been logged in. session expired and then logges in again the errror comes up!
User IS available in the K2 users database.
I have set k2 system plugin to -1 and i'll test more.

When i know more i'll post it here

When re-ordering the plugins it is "solved". Although i don't think this should matter.

It worked! Setting the K2 plugin to "-1" in its order solved the problem for me as well.

(Sorry for the late reply, guys. I didn't have the time to install and test it until today.)

Well, to be more precise, the K2 plugin has to be loaded BEFORE the "Remember Me" plugin. It works then, but the "Remember Me" function is broken after changing the plugins' order. Your browser will forget you were logged in after you have closed it (even if the user checked "Remember Me" box on login).

Does anybody know how this can be fixed?

My configuration:

Joomla! v2.5.8
Community Builder v1.9
K2 v2.6.2
Kunena v2.0.3
