Hello

I am trying to list items of child category items on the parent category layout page.

i want something like this:

parent category
child_category1 child_category2 child_category 3

item1 item2 item 3...
itemx itemy itemz

where item1, item2 .... are items from child categories, random selected or from first child or seconf or third.

Can you guys give me some hints on how to do this?

By default the K2 (master) Category view can list block of categories with not items and the items are displayed underneath with your desired ordering. These setting are located in the category's parameters.

It's subcategories block setting under the "Sub-category handling" section.

Ok, i managed to make this work as i desired. The thing is that i had activated catalog mode and wile that was activated no items were listed under the category parent.
