I'm trying to load a Slideshow in the K2 Article Image area. I can do this with a module and a menu item rather easily. I installed the YJ Image Slider for K2 Extension which looks like that should do the trick, but the extension just doesn't work.
I may have to customize this feature but was just wondering if anyone else has done this and if it was possible.

You can use Simple Gallery Pro and use the Galleria template.

Thank you but that's for if I want to create a slideshow. I know how to do that.
I'm looking to turn the article image into a slideshow.
I'm trying to create an extended field and then modify the code to have a slidehow appear in the same position, but it's not going good right now.
Just thought there might be an easier way to go about this than what I'm doing.

You can replace the image's block in your template with the gallery.
Then the gallery will appear instead of the image.

Yes, this is where I was headed with customizing the page. First attempt did not work for whatever reason. But as least I know I'm no the right path. Just didn't know if there was another way.
