K2 default CSS vs Template, Design and Editor was created by Michael GaKI
Dear all,

I have some problems with my new development and using a template together with K2.
This is my homepage in development: goo.gl/3RNYl0

I activate frontend editing of articles. On the form top right there is a SAVE and CLOSE button.
The Save-Button works. After clicking the notice "Item saved" will shown left side, top. But
the Close-Button doesn´t work. I have to click the browser-address-line in background to come
back to homepage.

In addition to this the button Featured and Published are out of work (all grey, click without reaction).

This is the configuration:
K2-Default CSS : enabled
jQuery Library 1.12.x. latest remote
(with older Libraries there is no difference).

If I change K2-CSS default to disable there are some changes.

So there is no editbutton on the right of the article. The text "Edit Item" stands
before Title of Item.

In Backend everything is fine. Buttons are in function. It would be nice, if the editor and
functionallity will be the same (1:1) in Front- and Backend.

The following screenshot shows an additional difference when using Attachments to Items.
Here you see the Impact of inactive/activated K2-CSS (left inactive)

Any Ideas who I can take the best from both to get a nice result?

We know :) This is why v3 will be like that.

What you should do is override K2, since you wont want your edits to be lost when you update

Did you install 2.7 or the dev version?

Hello Krikor,

I use the regular version. Not the dev-version. But of course, I could install the developer-version.

But I am not an expert in CSS and scripting :-(

Hello,

no, there is no styling holding for K2 from this Template (called stylishphotography from XS)

And yes, I hope to see the content similar to your screenshot, but for me the buttons Featured
and Published all all grey and the close button (top right) don´t close the popupwindows).

This is a conflict between the template's styling and K2's styling.
I would suggest, since you want to develop your site in K2, using a template which supports K2.
