Problem with the filter in BackEnd was created by Antonio
Hello, I have installed Joomla 3.5 and K2 2.7 and when I enter the administrative side of K2, when I click on the link items or categories, in the filter box for titles I see this symbol "{" and there is no way remove it, which I can not access see all the items you have in k2. To clear need to clean browser cookies, reentering Joomla and then when I enter k2 I get the list of items again, but after a while, as I open an item and put it, for example, I again that symbol appear.

Attached a screenshot for what it's worth.

I do not understand what may be happening.
Hope someone can help me.
Thank you so much.
Anthony

Hello Anthony,
Are you using any 3rd party K2 plugins?
Can you try disabling error reporting?

Krikor Hello, thanks for answering, I use only version 2.7 and k2 component and plugin modules that have built-in zip file download.

I have disabled the report joomla error in global settings.

The error continues

What value does the input hold?
You can see it with your browser's developer tools.

Any js errors?

Finally have you tried reinstalling K2?

Hello Krikor, first of all want to thank you for your interest in the problem is occurring.

Investigating, I found the problem, but do not know how to fix it.

The problem is that I use a URL that opens an external page. This external page when opened creates a cookie named "search" and when that cookie is created when the filter title k2 shows the symbol "{" and can not filter or restore.
When I delete the cookie then the symbol "{" disappears and k2 shows the items or categories correctly.

How I can do in this case to fix it?

Best regards

To be honest, this is the first time I have ever encountered this issue.
What is that external page?

Ok.. this is really weird.
Does this happen on other extensions as well? Eg: com_content?
Is this site related to your Joomla! installation, same domain or sth else?

Only shown in k2, the list of Items, Categories, Tags, Comments and Users. In other Joomla components such as com_content, this error does not occur.

This external page is a subdomain with CNAME that is used to display the results of a few trips.

If you could rename 'search' using K2 to save the filter data search by another name, for example 'search_k2' the problem would be solved. But it happens I do not know what page the component K2 can play this name.

Again I reiterate my thanks for your help.
Best regards
Anthony
