Attachments not showing in Frontend was created by Hielke
Hello,
I already googled 2 days en searched this forum, but couldn't find a sollution according to my problem.
I have a site with a custom template in which the attachment on de K2 items aren't showing.
In the backend I can add the attachment, but they just won't show up.
I already changed the template in Joomla, but on those templates, the attachments aren't showing either.
I changed the "view attachment" option on the category and on the item itself, but still no luck.
I'm using Joomla 3.6.2 and K2 version 2.7.1, PHP version 5.3.7 (already tried to update to 7.09 but this didn't fix the issue)
Is there any thing I'm missing, just to get it work.
Thanks in advance.

Can you share a link (where attachments should be present) to your site?

The attachments are available in the JSON feed - www.tzummarum-firdgum.nl/index.php/component/k2/item/12-e-mailadressen-op-site-werken-weer?template=protostar&format=json
This means two things, either you have edited core files of K2's templates or you need to double check the category's settings and make sure that the category is not inheriting its settings from another category.

I fixed it. Thnx for your help.
I was under the assumption, that I found all the attachment settings in the category settings. (Which I set to "show")
But when I was making screenshots for you, I looked a little bit closer (better) and the attachment setting I set to show was the category listing column, but I also found an attachment setting under item view options.
When I set this setting to "show", clicked save and refreshed the article, the attachment link showed up.
So thanks for your help.
