Hello there!

I have a problem with extra field type textarea.

When i want to store a logn text (like a large table for example) and save the item, all the extra fields become empty of data.

Is there any way to increase the size that the textarea can store?

I use the latest version of K2 with plain text editor on the extra fields.

How large table are we talking about?
If we are talking about thousands of characters or languages which are encoded in HTML entities then you might need to manually change the db cell into LongText.

I tried this allready but with no luck.

Just to be sure, i'm attaching a screenshot with the change in the database (before i do the change) to tell me if this is the right place.

Backup and give it a go :)

I chanded it, resaved the fields just to be sure but with no luck.

In theory a longtext field should hold an enormus number of data but in practice it dont :)

Can you enable error reporting, and check your error_log to rule out a PHP (memory) issue?
