Hi all!

I have created a template override for K2 to go with a custom Joomla template I did for a client. In this override, K2 items are arranged in their categories as "tiles" (please see screenshot imgur.com/a/bzV52 ) where item title and item creation date are displayed, with the item's image as the tile's background.

This works fine in all categories, even when an Item has no image assigned. BUT (yes, there is a "but") in one category AND its' 5 subcategories, the image appears in the source code but NOT in the browser.

I have tried emptying cache, disabling cache, 4 different browsers plus netrenderer.com, so this is not some cache / local issue.

Any ideas, before I go crazy?

I am not sure if it is the multilingual extension's fault (altering the HTML code)

As you can see the images' URLs are not correct -> imgur.com/a/RZc2v

Once I remove the ../../ part the image is shown.

This is really strange, because the problem only appears in a specific category and its subcategories, nowhere else.
Also, the image URL is identical in all other categories, e.g. imgur.com/a/7f9iV

Ok, so I decided to create a menu item for the first subcategory, and guess what? The images worked!
This is indeed an issue with the multilingual component, thanks x1.000 for pointing me in the right direction Krikor!!!
