Hi
I have a site that is still in the very early stags of building and i am using a template. This has filler content using Joomla articles. I want to replace them all with my content using K2 articles.

Can someone tell me the basic sequence?

1 create the K2 article - i can do that

2 create a K2 category - i can do that - add article from step 1 in to the category

3 Get said article on to the frontage - not a clue!!!

Hello Stephen,

That Shape5 template is not made to work with K2. It was was designed with com_content as the content source.

Here's a person who posted a request to have a coder add K2 to that template:

You will need to hire a professional who is experienced with K2.

Hello Stephen,

For me, it is recommended to create K2 categories at first, then create K2 articles.
While you are creating the K2 article/item, you can set it to be featured or published on the frontpage.
