Hi,
I imported items from standard Joomla articles into K2 using built in importer and when I try to open I get

An error has occurred.
[0] Error decoding JSON data: Syntax error

Any chance I can fix this error?

Hello,

The check introduced in J! 3.6.4 raises this notice.
It appears that the items have illegal JSON strings saved in the DB.
It could be in the params or the extrafields.

JCE can also cause this error. If the error is not present in new items let me know so I can check the db again.

I fixed the issue cleaning metadata column. Because it was export from a wordpress site it contained garbage. Now everything is ok.
