I would like to play a remote video in my article. How to determine the correct tags.

You need to get the actual video's URL, then according to its format use the proper syntax.

I know the Allvideo documentation. Some tag I tried, but I do not know what type of remote video. Does anyone have any idea how to determine what type of a video?

You need to get the link of the actual mp4 (or similar) file.
Then you can use AllVideo's brackets.

You can use your browser's developer tools to find the URL of the video, however if the owner of the video does not allow embedding of the video, there is nothing you can do.
