I love Joomla and k2. But i think i'm the only developer still using Joomla and k2 in Sweden.

I have been waiting for k2 v.3 forever now??? Anybody know whats happening. Should i learn Wordpress instead? Please give me your suggestions.

But what concerns me is that It has been said that k2 v3 would be released for more than two years now. In march they finally said in the their blog that v3 would be released within a month. Its been 8 months now :(

You can use 2.7.x which offers most of the same functionality.

Thanks, again for fast response. All my sites are up to date. But the new k2 media manager is starting a lot of problems for me since my publishers cant use it in the front-end. And my favorit future with k2 is the extra fields.

The media manager is available only for browsing in the front-end.
This is why you are getting greyed out icons.

Yeah i know. But then, there is no way for my publishers to upload an image in the extra fields from the front-end.

I don't want to give the front-end publishers back-end access so there is no way for us to use k2. We cant just use the k2 image since the system converts it and we want to use multiple images with the k2 image extra fields.
