I am new to joomla. I found a lot of ansers to my questions here, but with this topic I did not find anything helpfull.

In my blog I have the parent-category (also menu-item) and 4 sub-categories.
I replaced "itemlist/category" with another string.

Via the module K2 tools I insert a "Categories List (Menu)". If I click at one of the categories the URL looks like that
domain.com/parent-category/string/sub-category1

If I click at an articel, my URL changes to:
domain.com/parent-category/sub-category1/item1

Two questions:
1. is there any possibility to delete the string "itemlist/category" instead of replacement?
2. if not: is there any possibility to change the URL from the item to: domain.com/parent-category/string/sub-category1/item1

You can get rid of the string by mapping each subcategory into a menu item.
