Hi all,

I'm upgrading a content-rich website from Joomla 2.5 to 3.

It has thousands of K2 items in it. I have tried the K2 Import tool but it isn't fully working for me, so I have simply performed an SQL dump on the K2 tables from the J2.5 site, and imported it to J3.

All of the items have transferred, but the images have not come across - in that the "image" field in each item is blank.

Is there a way to manually export K2 items while preserving images?

Since you have already moved the DB tables,
try moving the /media/k2 folder to your new site.

Furthermore make sure to migrate the users as well.

Unfortunately copying media/k2 and the user table didn't work

Would it be to do with the fact that I migrated the content table first, then media and users? If I tried migrating the content again, would it work?
