{SOLVED} WMV Video Does Not Play?

Just testing out something on Joomla 1.0.15 based test site and I posted a video using the AllVideos plugin on my site. I can see a flash video, but when I put in a WMV, video 2 strange things happen when I try to view:
1.) I get asked to download Microsoft Silverlight (never heard of that before for WMV!)
2.) The video does not play
The video is about 16mb, so not so big. I emailed tech at my hoster and they said this:
It is not something related to the server - but, it is depending on the browser and the system that is accessing. If the system is compatible with the video format and if there is a player it will work normally. The current video is instructing me to install "Microsoft Silverlight" when accessing through firefox (I am sorry, I am on Linux).
The link to test the video is here:

Any ideas why this won't play for me?

Users are prompted to download the plugin from within their browser, so they can see WMV/WMA media.
Using Silverlight for Windows Media playback is far more smoother than using the old way (=loading Windows Media Player within the browser).
So go ahead and download the Silverlight browser plugin. ;)

Silverlight is a new technology by Microsoft, similar in concept to Flash.

Hi Fotis!
I did download Silverlight, and my WMV video will still not play. Is there a reason this happened? Flash plays fine with the Plugin, WMV does not play at all.
Thanks!

Some visitors may hate to be asked to download Silerlight.
I checked the parameters of Allvideos Plugin, but there is no option to switch to non-silverlight player for .WMV videos.
Could you please add this option?
Thanks.

The silverLight install should not be a mandatory rule to see the videos. We need another option.
How to change this to the old version, without SilverLight?
Please...

I Just intalled the latest version V3.3 and well...
I found that even after I installed Siverlight on my computer I could still not run the WMV video as the article with the plugin installed keeps requesting me to install Siverlight.. but it is already installed
Kind Regards
