Radiojar's station info was created by Felipe
Hi, congrats for your great templates!

Exactly where do I have to add my Radiojar's station info? On which modules? Exactly where on the custom code?

Regards,
Felipe

Please read the documentation here: nuevvo.com/documentation/commercial-templates/item/95-radiowave

The part where you need to add your radiojar information is located in the radiojar.js file under templates/radiowave/js folder.

Thanks Yiota for answering,
The documentation for using Radiojar pop-up and other modules is not very clear.
I changed the streamname on four places on radiojar.js
Then, there is <a href="#"> but what url exactly should I put there?

Do I have to change something on the modules?

Felipe

The empty <a> element is in the popup? Can you describe to me the location?

Thank you.

Okay, I had changed some things on the custom code on the modules, so I reinstalled everything again.
Now, I changed the streamname on 4 places on radiojar.js and then I changed the url on Player module's custom code.
So far it's working perfectly on site's frontpage NOW PLAYING and the window icon (the one that opens my radiojar's microsite).

But "Listen Live" is still not working. RadioWave_Popup Module is not opening.

On the bottom of the second Player module's custom code is:
<div class="rjp-playingNow">
    <div id="rj-cover"><a href="#"><img src=""></a></div>
    <div class="rjp-trackinfo-container">
      <h4 class="rjp-label">Now playing</h4>
      <p id="trackInfo" class="rjp-info"></p>
    </div>
Do I have to add my radiojar's url on the <a> element? I don't think this is the reason for the Popup Module to not work though.

BTW, on your Demo the Popup Module isn't working either, so maybe there is something wrong with the coding.

You need to make sure that you have changed the popup's url in the Player module published in the RadioWave_Player position.

You don't have to fill in the <a> element or the <img> element in the above code. They are filled in automatically from radiojar.

The popup in our demo page should be working now. We had made a small change in the demo's path. Thank you for noticing that by the way.

Hi Yiota,

Tried with every possible url (m3u, pls, mp3, microsite) without success.
At least on my mac (retina display) I'm still not able to see the popup to open on your demo.

I'll wait for news from you. Thanks for the help.

EDITED:
Okay, I understood! And now it's working on my site (as it is on your Demo).

Still, the play button, "Listen Live", on both the site and the popup, is not working (on both my site and your demo). This means music cannot be heard!

Felipe

Can you provide a link to your site to check it out?

I just checked in our demo site and both players (in the header of the site and the popup are playing just fine).

Hello Felipe,

I visited the link you sent us. I could listen to the "Tonada en Sepia.m4a" song from both the popup and the header player.

I double checked the demo and it is working properly.

Are you sure Radiojar was not experiencing server issues?

Hi Krikor,

I was able to listen music on my iPhone (4S)!!!!
But really, still not able to listen on my mac or PC. Should I have to install a plugin?, or maybe it's a problem with flash configuration.

Regards,
Felipe

Since it is playing in your iPhone then it is definitely a Flash issue.

Maybe you should update your Flash player, in my mac it is working fine. I have Plug-in version 12.0.0.44 installed.

I have the same (12.0.0.44) Falsh plugin version on my mac.
Can't listen music on Firefox, Chrome and Safari.
This is the error I get:
kacbd2tkb player.js?1.06:71
http://stream.radiojar.com/kacbd2tkb.mp3 player.js?1.06:76
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) http://www.radiojar.com/api/stations/undefined/schedules/
event.returnValue is deprecated. Please use the standard event.preventDefault() instead.
2
Uncaught TypeError: Object #<HTMLEmbedElement> has no method 'playSound' player.js?1.06:126

On my iPhone, when I click on the play icon it changes to the pause icon. On computer (mac and pc) the play icon doesn't change...

the:
event.returnValue is deprecated. Please use the standard event.preventDefault() instead.
is just a notice from jQuery which will not cause any issues.

On the other hand,
Uncaught TypeError: Object #<HTMLEmbedElement> has no method 'playSound' player.js?1.06:126
is a configuration error in Radiojar's settings.

Trying to access the correct url also fails: www.radiojar.com/api/stations/kacbd2tkb/schedules/
(Check the demo schedule URL www.radiojar.com/api/stations/u0510s7hb/schedules/ which produces a valid JSON file).

In your position I would double check Radiojar's (and your station's) settings.

Guys, your work is excellent, but it seems you guys aren't good at detailed explanations. This radiojar template is very well designed, I lOVE IT, but confusing process to turn the radiojar demo links into ours. NOT EVERYONE that buys your template is a developer.

Hello Jobe,

Simply enter your Radiojar info in the template's parameters and then open the radiojar.js file.

The file is located in the /templates/radiojar/js/ folder.
Finally replace ALL instances of "u0510s7hb" with your stream name

Open the player module.
In the quickstart package it has the ID 123.

Locate the following block
<a class="popup" href="http://demo.nuevvo.com/commercial/j25/radiowave/index.php?tmpl=popup" onclick="window.open(this.href,'targetWindow','width=690,height=600,toolbar=no,location=no,status=no,menubar=no,scrollbars=no,resizable=yes,');return false;"><i class="icon-popup"></i></a>

and change the link like this
<a class="popup" href="http://YOUR_DOMAIN_NAME_HERE.COM/index.php?tmpl=popup" onclick="window.open(this.href,'targetWindow','width=690,height=600,toolbar=no,location=no,status=no,menubar=no,scrollbars=no,resizable=yes,');return false;"><i class="icon-popup"></i></a>
