getting started is complicated... was created by Sabina Nørgaard Madsen
I thought it was easy to start an eshop, but i cant download the startpackage and the k2override... When i open my joomla webside, tha page is empty. Is it possible to make them in another format than xml?? or what do i need to do?
I tried to do this, but then my administrator got deleted(my teacher has been trying to recreate it the whole day)

Hello Sabina,

Did you follow the instructions as posted here: nuevvo.com/documentation/general-resources/installation/item/31-how-to-install-the-quickstart-package ?

The K2 override should be manually installed if you are using that specific K2 Store version.

Finally make sure your hosting setup meets the minimum requirements for Joomla! (eg. PHP 5.3+ etc)

www.joomla.org/technical-requirements.html

PS. Joomla! 's structure requires all the installation and extension/template params to be in an xml format.

You can download it and it is a zip file, but you need to upload it somehow to your server. The FTP program does that.

If you are working on localhost then you do not need an FTP program for now.

You can try filezilla which is free.

Yes, although the quick-start package has all these modules already set up.

You have already found it. (the toreda_Cart position).
I strongly suggest you use the quickstart package as a reference point. If you do not want to save your hosting space consider using it in your local machine.
