I ask for backend access because most of the times the problem caused by wrong permissions, settings or conflicts with other extensions.

However, the problem caused by joomla. Please upgrade to joomla 2.5.1 and your problem will be solved.

I was trying to be funny, not rude. Sorry if I got misunderstood :)

My website is J1.5, isn't there any way to make it work without changing joomla version?

I have the same problem. I bought this module because it said it worked in Joomla 1.5. If it does not, I have no use for the product!

If the solution to this issue is not that simple, we'll probably have to wait for a new version.

Katia, until then, could you give us a download link for a previous version of FPSS (the latest one that works with J1.5)? That would be enough until the next version which -I hope- will fix this issue.

:)

Can we get a solution to this. I spent money on a component I can't use.

Frontpage Slideshow works just fine in all Joomla! versions from 1.5 to 2.5.

@site2011 Since you haven't responded back I can only assume the page did not load properly for you. Can you verify?

@sitemistic & @snw Please update to Joomla 1.5.25 (the latest current release). Install the latest Frontpage Slideshow release on top of the existing one. Clear your browser's cache and check again. If that doesn't fix your issues, reply back and tell us what PHP version your server run on.
