PHP "Notice: Undefined property" Errors was created by Daniel Boothby
Hi All,

I've got frontage slideshow working fine on a 2.5.1 build of joomla, but I'm trying to rebuild my site again from scratch and have installed front page slideshow 3.2.0 onto a fresh 2.5.4 build of joomla and get the following errors above any slideshow modules that I put on my page:
Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$referenceAlias in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\Parkside\WebTest2\components\com_fpss\helpers\slideshow.php on line 392 Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$referenceCategoryID in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\Parkside\WebTest2\components\com_fpss\helpers\slideshow.php on line 392 Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$referenceCategoryAlias in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\Parkside\WebTest2\components\com_fpss\helpers\slideshow.php on line 392 Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$referenceSectionID in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\Parkside\WebTest2\components\com_fpss\helpers\slideshow.php on line 392

Any suggestions as to what's causing this, and how to fix it?

Dan

Hi,

I'm having the same issue. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but I'm still getting these error codes.

What else can I try?

All the permissions under... System Information / Directory Permissions are set to 'Writable'

Are these the permissions you are referring to?

Many thanks,
J

Please install Admin Tools from www.akeebabackup.com/ in order to fix your permissions as they should be and then reinstall the extension.

These are not errors, but notices. Where do you get them?
