(SOLVED) Author in Home Page Blog ( not shown ) was created by IP2000

Hi all :woohoo:

I am taking several days traying to "enable" Author so it could appears at my homepage, but I wasn't able to do it.

Joomla 1.7.1
K2 2.5.0
Spanish
www.gp2blog.com/web

All the Author options are enable (blog menu, articles, cathegories, general config) and it's shown in all pages but at the home page.

Can you guys, please, help me?

What about the settings in K2 Content Module ?

Hi Kannan
In my point of view, settings in K2 Content Module, only affects the modules.
My problem is at the main page. Not at the modules.

Hi IP2000,

I believe the Show Author option in your category -> Item View Options in Category Listing is set to Hide

I dont see any  tag in your frontpage source.

In Item View the Full User Information is displayed. In Item in Cat you just can activate the written by Author Option

I agree with you.
But what I want is only "written by Author" in Home Page ( K2 )
The Full User Information is displayed Ok in Item View.

No.

in my test site i have only "social" category

Is your menu item type for Home or Blog set to

K2 » Latest items from (one or more) users or categories

If you did that, it will not show the Written By since you already choose to display items by Super User.

You need to use the K2 » Categories menu item type to display the Written By.
