K2 items list in back end diverts to joomla control panel was created by Christina Cherry
Hi
I have K2 2.1 installed and when I try to filter items in the back end or publish/unpublish using the green arrow icon I am getting joomla control panel loading.
The only way I can find articles is to show all and do ctrl f, and have to open the article to unpublish it.

I was a bit nervous about it - its ok on a live site? I already killed the site reinventing it with K2 lol

Bit the bullet and upgraded - nice - but didn't fix the problem. I still can't filter items

Sorted it out - I deleted all the old content/categories/sections from joomla (not K2) and then went into admin tools and cleared cache/purged expired cache then into the database and checked it.
Thanks for the help Simon.

The filter items problem is back. When I am in items listing in the backend and select features state, category, user or publishing state it just loads up the main joomla control panel.
Can anyone help me with this?
Cheers

Hi Christina,
Unusual problem.
I use those functions regularly, but have just checked on two and they all work.
Do you have a Admin template installed?
Have you added any comps, plugins since it last worked?
Simon

Hi. Are you using a custom admin theme?

I don't have a custom theme and quite possibly is a plugin - I will hunt through them. I have just discovered that saving the configuration of the JCE editor is also doing the same thing.
I have turned SEO off which made no difference so its not that.
Will investigate further

Disabled all plugins and the problem still exists.
Maybe I have corrupt files and need to reupload them or could it be the database?
Cheers
