I'm looking to change the url from livinginphuket.info/k2/test/test    (The word K2 in the url) to something else! How do it do that? Not that I don't wanna let others know I'm using k2! But it's for professional looking and security reason..Any advise? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Are you using any SEF such as Joomla core or sh404SEF.
Are you using mod_rewrite?

OK, I see the confusion.
mod_rewrite is not a module.
If you go to your admin panel, global configuration, site tab:

The image will show the Apache mod_rewrite enable/disable option. I guess as you do not know, you may well not be using it.

OK, this all comes down to your .htaccess file found in the root of your server.
For me, this is a black art and have struggled in the past.

If you send me your email address by private message, i will send you a .htaccess file which I use on K2Joom.com, it does not display the K2 part in the Url.
