When using this component I came across this need that remains fairly tricky.
I have the following categories:

--- A1 .1

--- A2 .1

I have a problem in displaying the branch A.
When I click on the branch father to me subcategories display on A1, A2, A3 with its introductory texts, images and the READ MORE button, but unfortunately if I click on the read more button A1 I do not see the display of the sub-A1.1 with its entirety but I see the detail of the subcategory A1 I just clicked as if it ended around them. I solved the problem by removing the READ MORE button and putting a url with the same fixed (but it's a piece of crap).
I would therefore like to know (if possible) how you can implement leaving the READ MORE button with a defined url and dynamic if they increase subcategories.

Which category is your item/article in ?

If you have the article in category A1.1 and the category parent, in this case A1 - (Catalog Mode) setting is set to No, then when you're viewing category A1 it will display all articles from inside it's subfolder.

If you set the Catelog Mode to Yes, the when viewing category A1, it will not show any article, you will see the subfolder A.1 and only when you go inside this folder, you can see the article.

You can check the setting at - Category Item Layout -> Othe Layout Options -> Catalog Mode. You will see a dropdown select with the value Yes | No

i would like that If i click in one of this read-more button of A1, A2, A3 you must display in turn their respective articles and not the details of A1.

from main orizontal menù go to "PRODOTTI" (category A).
Here there are 4 category (A1, A2, A3, A4)
See the A4 ("Porte per Interni"): if you click on READ MORE, now see the details of this. I would like that if i click in this button is like that i click on main menù on the subitem "PRODOTTI > PORTE PER INTERNI " so i can see the under category of A4 (A4.1, A4.2, A4.3). After that I will have to see these 3 subcategories, after I click in each of these will have to be able to see the related items

From what i see

The menu items are linked to k2 categories. When i click PRODOTTI it shows all the items inside that category, so by default when you click read more, it will show the item Porte Per Interni because it belongs to the PRODOTTI category.

I see that you have an item titled - Porte Per Interni and also a category named Porte Per Interni.

I believe what you want to do is, when user click the PRODOTTI menu it must show the category and not the items. So your PRODOTTI settings for Opzioni vista categoria -> Gestiane sotto categorie must be set to Mostra, at the moment it's all Nascondi

Try unpublishing the items inside PRODOTTI, set the Gestiane sotto categorie to Mostra.

This way, it will show the category Porte Per Interni and not the item Porte Per Interni, and when you click view items, it will show all the items inside the Porte Per Interni category and it will work as the submenu Porte Per Interni.

The remove the words "View Items" and "Children Categories" you need to edit the category.php file.

I would advise you to do template overrides. getk2.org/documentation/tutorials/174-templating-with-k2-and-the-concepts-of-sub-templates

file to edit - category.php
- look for these lines and remove it or comment it out
