When i click save from the front end K2.js triggers the following error:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method 'getContent' of undefined K2

And does not submit the article.

Thoughts?

Hello Keyon,

Which version of Joomla! and K2 are you using?
Are you using an override and have you tried with the default template?

I am using Joomla 3.2 and K2 2.6.7.

I am new to k2 so I am using everything from the default install.

When you mentioned default template are you talking about the default Joomla template.

By default template we mean the K2 default template. If you are using any overrides disable them in order to locate the issue.

Ok I am either a super noob at this or .... I am a super noob at this. Where would I check to see if any overrides are installed or what template I am using for K2? I know where to go for the Joomla template not the K2 one.

You need to check under templates/your_template/html/com_k2/. If the folder exists in that path it means that you are using K2 template overrides. To Disable them just rename, by adding an _ (underscore) at the end of the folder name, the com_k2 folder.
That way you will force K2 to use the default template files through the component.

Thanks. Now that I understand this, I can confirm I am using no overrides.

Do you use any content plugins? If yes, please try to Disable them one by one and check again.

No content plugins enabled. Other thoughts? Currently I am debating on uninstalling K2 and trying to re-install it to see if there is an issue with that.
