new here and using the free version for testing before buying.

The problem I am having is no matter what I do, be it use a read more or use two editors, one for intro teat and one for full, when I go to the full text page when clicking read more The first paragraph takes on the format of the heading (Heading 2 in this case). I cannot seem to change this no matter what I do.

Any help would be most welcome?

I have sort of worked it out. It was a conflict between having intro text set to show in item view options when using the read more.

I had to use a read more because I am having the same problem many others are with intro text limits not working at all.

I don't quite understand. Why the introtext limit didn't work? Have you set it properly in the category's settings for the listings?

I set it everywhere I could find with no luck at all

In the backend do you use one or two editors in the item page?
If you use one editor, have you used the read more separator?

Here is the link At the moment I have two editors set for intro and full. but as you will see all the text is paragraph because if I try to set the words "Standard manager report" to Heading 2 it changes all the text in the editor to Heading 2 and all the text (including the heading) to paragraph if I set the main text to paragraph.

I have tried cutting and pasting with the paste as plain text box and all other options, it will not let me set a separate Heading and paragraph?

Do you have the introtext limit enabled for your listings?
If you do then all HTML will be stripped. If not you have to separate your subtitle and text with different paragraph elements. Then select the first one and apply the heading you want.

OK, I used triple spacing to achieve both heading and paragraph, so that is sorted.

But can I get it clear in my head about intro limits.

Can I only set intro limits if I have two editors?

And if not, in how many places do I have to set intro limits for items?

If you use only one editor you will have to use the read more separator tool from the editor's options in order to do so.

Now, the limits for introtext are only put in the category's settings. The one thing you need to check is if the category you need to apply the limit to, doesn't inherit its parameters from another category.
