I have a problem on my site. when i turn on the introtext for related items by tag on category parameters it is not showing . the div relitemintrotext is created but the introtext is not showing up. The strange is that when i check to show fulltext , it is shown correctly. what i shall do to make the introtext for related items visible?

Do this items have a proper introtext ? I mean have you specified an introtext via the read more button or by using two separate editors?

Yes i did it with readmore. see an example. an article of the category finance that i have turn on introtext for related articles politicaldoubts.com/finance/item/585-syriza-enantion-syriza-kai-politikoi-enantion-politikis . on the left side there are related items. you can check with firebug or something like this that the div for introtext exists. also you can click on one of the related items to see that it has introtext (example of the one of the related with introtext politicaldoubts.com/europe/item/588-giati-germania) . but nothing showing up. in the category view when i click to show introtext it is be shown correctly... take a look and give me some ideas. thanks a lot for your time!

You are using an outdated version of K2.
Please update to k2 2.6.9

Is this the problem for the introtext? but it wilk override the changes i ve made in item.php?

Did you override the item.php or did you edit directly the core files?
If you edited the core files, you need to override it - read here more: getk2.org/documentation/tutorials/174

So i ll make a copy of item.php to /templates/YOURJOOMLATEMPLATE/html/com_k2/templates/view/item.php ? And the upgrade ll solve the problem with introtext with related items by tags?

ok. i have update my k2 to v 2.6.9 . i ve overrided files as you said to me. but the introtext of the related items by tag still not showing up. what i shall do?

ok seee whats happened . when i turn on introtext in the Item view options in category listings the introtext of the related items its shown. thats a point. but i want the introtext to shown on the related items but not on category view? what i must do? shall i do it with css and display:none? is it another way?

That is not the normal behaviour.
