Setting editor to None was only to confirm that JCE is not the real issue.
However, adding this patch wouldn´t help anyway as Ryan has included the patch in JCE 2.5.8, and is installed on my site.

I have also set the K2 category template to Default, in order to verify if the problem is in K2 template override files. It made no difference.

I will have a look at jQuery Easy forum. I have the plugin installed and have tested a lot of combinations without result.

Sorry .. you may lost a lot of time.
IMHO you might address Ryan and simplify the web to assist you.

Which version of K2 are you using? Have you updated to the dev version (2.7.0)?
Also jQuery Easy will help if an extension is loading jQuery where it shouldn't be.

I have installed 2.7.0 and set K2 template to default.
I use jQuery Easy but have not found a setting that works.

Can you suggest how K2´s own jQuery should be set?
I will dig into the jQuery Easy forum tonight.

Currently I run my org. on J + Js.

K2 - 2.6.9
Template - JA-Social II.

Using SP page builder + Helix3 + Onepage tempate for hoe/landing page - here I have K2 issues w Jquery.

At j3.4.4 there is a problem that buttons save/cancel don't respond.

So I did the check and sent you the outcome.

I installed another jquery tool, runs great - eorisis.com/web-design/joomla-extensions/jquery/download

This is the end I can assist ..

@Sune, You can control the loading from K2's extensions.
Have you checked again for any js errors in your console?
