Autocomplete in K2 administrator was created by Uzi
Hello,
With the latest update it seems that the autocomplete on for example the title field and the author alias field is not working. I have added a couple of items but any last options that I used before do not appear. Is this something which happened with the latest update?

Hello,
Autocomplete was used only in tags. You were probably seeing the browser's default autocomplete.

Okay, I understand. But why is the browser default autocomplete suddenly not working anymore?

I checked and it is only the K2 component that has this issue, the other parts of administrator has the autocomplete feature.

Uzi, this is the browser's default behaviour, we have no control over this.

Ok, very strange that K2 is the only component that doesn't seem to activate the browser autocomplete.

But there isn't anything added to the new autocomplete as well.
But I guess this really is something not related to K2.

We are using standard input elements, nothing out of the ordinary to be honest, furthermore we do not use any custom scripts in these fields.

Okay, so I researched the problem more extensively and I really do think there is something in the updated K2 (because it's because of the new version, I'm fairly sure) that stopped the autocomplete to work. All of my other fields, in Joomla itself do work with Autocomplete, it is only the K2 component that does not show the previous inputted values. It's kind of irritating, because previously it worked, but it's also so much duplicate work you are doing while previously you could just select those values. Are you sure you guys didn't change anything in the new item page?
EDIT: I forced autocomplete on the input fields, but that didn't work either. I find this behaviour very, very strange. I am wondering why the Joomla article input fields do have the autocomplete, but the K2 ones not.
