Someone delete the main table that stores all the item info. I hope you have a backup...

Hello Fotis

today i had the same thing in other website with k2. I have 3 sites where use k2. in last three months i use Joomgrabber where you suggest me for auto publish article. I think if this is the problem as the only table where they delete is K2_items . Do you have any idea if is it right?

Thank you

There is probably a bug in that component and ends up deleting your items. You should contact Joomgrabber's developers as soon as possible to have this resolved.

Hello Fotis

we unistall the joomGrabber and we left the site for one week stable. Today the k2_items table again deleted. We search what happent but the only component that now run is k2 & JBDirectory . Is possible k2 hacked into our site?

As far as I know (the VEL included), K2 has no known vulnerabilities (never really had any to be honest). It's rock solid.

Perhaps there's a leftover system plugin or cron job that deletes the content. Or if your site is indeed hacked as you say, it's most likely through some other extension.
