[Solved] Problem with SIG pro when thumbnail is clicked on was created by jlilie05

I installed OK and created a number of galleries. I plyed with the types of lightboxes, etc. to see which one I liked best. Then, all of a sudden when I clicked on the thumbnail, it opens in a new window (IE window) rather than rendering the way it should. I've checked the params and even uninstalled/reinstalled the plugin, but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

It is probably a conflict with something you add/change in your site... Select another pop up engine for SIG PRO in order to solve it.

It would be helpful to know what to look for. I deleted all K2 items and categories (because it started acting strange again), uninstalled K2, uninstalled SIG Pro and though it works OK in terms of display, no matter the type popup engine I use, I still get a new IE window. I can't think of anything I added. It was working fine for a time. I am using the Syndicate template.

I'm having the same problem today. No matter what I do I get images opening in a new window, not a light box.

Tried changing through the styles, clearing caches, etc. Even tried to reinstall SigPro

I have tried different popup engines and found that only greybox and the joomlaworks ones work. The ones bu jquery and mootools create the new window.

The site I'm having trouble with is www.svntest.com using the Hybrid template. The other sites I'm working on have no trouble but are using Zephyr and Syndicate templates.

Probably you have the other engines conflict with other scripts in your site.

We are working on the website for the client. The images are not centering inside the boundary of the box, they are offset to the bottom - right.

Has anyone had this same issue?

This is a conflict with your template. Just go to plugins/content/jw_sigpro/templates/Sleek/template.css at line 23 and change this:

li.sig-block a.sig-link img.sig-image {
    background-position: 50% 50%;
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    border: medium none;
    display: block;
    
}

to this:

li.sig-block a.sig-link img.sig-image {
    background-position: 50% 50%;
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    border: medium none;
    display: block;
    margin: 0;
}
