I have set ‘Smart thumbnail resize based on above dimensions’ disabled, because my pictures has a different aspect ratio and I want to keep this. But it doesn’t work. (Pro 2.5.7. in Joomla 2.5.3)

I have to built a new site from Joomla 1.5 to 2.5 and I did use Pro already in my old site. This is how I want to have it:

Is this still possible? What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for your response. I can’t send you a link because my new site is local. But this is a printscreen. You can see the background is a white quadrangle. On my old site (see link) the background has the same aspect ratio as the picture in it.

Τhe only difference I can see is that the text starts under the image.

For four years I used SIGPro in Joomla 1.5 and it worked fine. The only thing I want is thumbs on my page without ugly caption rollover and, when clicking, I want a Slimbox (MooTools) with captions. So it was in my 1.5 site.

Now with J2.5, I have several problems:
- The background of the thumbnail is a square instead of a nice border in the same dimensions as the thumb.;
- The dark caption rollover on my thumbs;
- The article text starts besides instead of under the thumb, but maybe that’s not a SIGPro problem?

I use a Yootheme template. They give notice of a jQuery issue. I quote:

On the next menu item ‘SCHILDERIJEN’ there’s a page with a different style. This also differs from the old SIGPro. You can notice on the old site that the width/height is automatically correct, there’s no square behind, only a nice border.
And here I want the thumbnail without caption, but with caption in the lightbox.

I have tried several settings, but I can’t manage…

Did you set SIG PRO not to show captions?

Could you pm me access to your backend?

How do I do that? Is there a save way? A mail address?
