Hi
I've seen many entries on this topic and none of the suggestions helped me
I bought SIG pro 2.5.7 and I am using it on Joomla 2.5.4

Every time I upload a zip file, I get the error:
Unknown Archive type
Gallery upload error. Cannot extract archive

The location folder that I set in the plugin is /media/k2/galleries/

I set the folder to 777

No motools nor jquery for Popup engine for image galleries

I modified the class.upload.php file to use
$this->file_src_mime = mime_content_type($this->file_src_name);
instead of
$this->file_src_mime = mime_content_type($this->file_src_pathname);

I added zip, ZIP to the Legal Extensions (File Types) in Media Manager content options

Any other suggestions?
Thank you

Please install Admin Tools from www.akeebabackup.com/ in order to fix your permissions as they should be

and then reinstall the extension.

Right permissions on all joomla sites:
755 for folders
644 for files

Thank you for your reply.
I installed and ran the Fx Permissions.

I tried to upload a zip file to the K2 image gallery and I got the same error message.

Anything else you think may be wrong?

Thank you

Your issue has been solved. You had wrong path for your images in SIG PRO settings.
