K2 / SIGpro layout problem was created by Getset2go Internet & Consulting CC
Hi,

I'm setting up a new site and when testing the SIGPro plugin in my K2 articles, there is a problem with the gallery depending on how many pictures there are in the gallery.
See www.sa-house-plans.co.za/index.php/pre-drawn-plans/item/1-test-house, you will notice that the more in this category and leave a comment titles/blocks do not move below the gallery.

Hope that someone can help me out?

Edwin

This is not a problem with Simple image gallery pro, but with your K2 item template i think, "item.php" file.
You could find it at: templates/"your_template"/html/com_k2/templates/default/item.php

No offense but I'm ignoring previous comment as it is unacceptable to change core files because of a paid plugin. I know sigpro can deliver as promised  ;)

I'm writing here because I have the same issue and it is as follows:

I inserted the gallery tag at the beginning of the second paragraph of a K2 article. It is set to one thumbnail.

In that position the container shows up  but no thumbnail. The label for "click to open" is there, and if you click in the empty space the gallery pops up.

In the beginning I thought it was a thumbnail problem, but then I scrolled down and noticed that the thumbnail repeats right before comments, screwing up the page's format. Down below the thumbnail looks great.

Have you guys seen this problem before? How can it be solved!

This is a link to a page showing the problem! www.elnuevocojo.com/opinion/item/911-pandillas-salvadore%C3%B1as-se-globalizan

You cannot add the same gallery two times in your item.

Hi Katia: Got your PM and you were right (I replied in a PM but it's better if I share my experience here with others). I thought that adding tags was the way to put galleries into articles. Now I see that galleries show up automatically after adding a gallery at the end of an article (I think  :-\). I solve my main issue by removing the tag and now  don't have two thumbnails showing up.

However, as I mentioned in my PM, the gallery thumbnail is still breaking the site. I think it is trying to show up in the "more in this section" row of the article and ends up overlapping that and the box where the comments form is.  Can you please take a look (again) at my site and see if you can figure what I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance for your awesome support.

As far as I can see it looks fine...  but I do not really know how is your template...
However, you may add more margin top at the element "more in this section".

Hi Katia: Thanks for you reply. Today I'm gonna check my site from a different network to see if the horrible positioning of the thumbnail is a local issue (wrong position attachment). So far, what I found is that when I remove a css making the box float left it kinda gets better (right position attachment), but I really have no way to know how exactly this plugin is supposed to look. Do you know of a test site somewhere where I can see how is sigpro supposed to look within K2? And I mean, WITHOUT using tags.

By removing the float left element (ul.sigProClassic @ template.css) the thumbnail box moves up and looks way better than now. I can do that but I really want to confirm this before adding an override that might screw up something else. So my question is , is this the way sigpro is supposed to look?  ???

Hello, one more thing: To keep up with the template's style I also added an underline to the title which is live now. This looks good now, but I'm still worried about messing up the way sigpro is supposed to look  :-\
