we have a gallery of 6,000 images, all in folders of 50 img each (350 x 120). we have bought the Pro-version but now it tuns out that we cannot switch off the pop-up functionality with a button.

how can we switch off the entire pop-up functionality? (all our images have pre-defined size and we do like the functionality of publishing and presentation but we do not want the pop ups... what code needs to be changed and how to disable the function?

First time that someone ask me something like that!  :)

The only thing we can do is to cut of the code that create the link part of the image and the code that create the caption!

Send me (PM) if you need an s.administrator account to do it myself
also you can try it, yourself if you know a bit of code!

i just bought Sigpro, awesome stuff. But i have the same question... is there a way too disable the popup. I figured, you guys didnt build it in natively yet, so what piece of code do i need to disable?

And 2nd question, is it possible to make the gallery pictures slide from 1 to another, if you dont pick one thumbnail. Prefably in the galleria-style.

I think that the product you want is our Frontpage slideshow and not SIG PRO. Please take a look to our demo site...

No i dont want that, i want to be able to show a different gallery per article (for a lot of article). so i need sig pro..

the slideshow is not the most important part, disabling the pop up is...

I would really like to disable the pop up mechanism altogether. Please..
I like using the Galleria template which has big picture in middle and thumbs under it. No need to click the big image, the thumbnails under it does the job.
Asking a lot, but would also love to get a template where the thumbnails stacked vertically to the right of the main image or edit/hack  the one I have so it does that.

uhm, Katia, i red that reply to another poster earlier in this thread.  I am really looking to disable the popup mechanism on the extension I already paid for. I don't have extra money to buy another extension to try out. How about helping a patron out with an answer on how to disable the popup function or how about an update to the extension so it can be done from the joomla backend.
