Pro version slow page accessing >SOLVED<

I just bought SIG pro after testing with the free version.
I needed a way to change the caption and this version could do it.
But now I am experiencing a slow page accessing. When I click the link of the page it takes 8 or 10 seconds to start loading the page, when it starts it is fast (thumbnail creation). I can activate the cashing in joomla and then the page loads fast the second time you try to load it but the first time it is still slow (of course).
I made a gallery of one image and it loads as fast as any other normal page (not a gallery page). So it has to do with the creation of the thumbnails I think.
I have found no solution here, although I have seen others with the problem.
I have Joomla 1.0.13 and SIG Pro 1.2
Any help or ideas are greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Aaron
edit:
The thumbnail cashe in the mambot configuration is set to 120min (was already)
there is a temp folder and there are thumbs inside, but it looks like it is creating them every time it loads the page.
this issue is SOLVED thanks to vinikey. You can find the solution here:

Links to my test site will no longer work.

thanks for your reply.
I already saw that post and have tried it ofcourse. I had the line 285 warning and it solved the warning but not the speed :-\
I can give you a link to a test site on which I have put the SIG Pro with some images. These images are a little smaller then the ones I planed to use (and used before).Because of that it loads a second or two faster but still pretty slow (5 or 6 seconds). It looks like it is downloading those images first and then starts loading the page.
I tried it on a different server and locally (usbWebserver on my pc)but still the same. Could it be that I have a bad or corrupt version (just trying to narrow it down)
Tried different templates to... the same.
So here is the issue in action :)

go to gallery on the left.
I realy appreciate you trying to help.
greetings,
Aaron
Oh yeah, on the other instance with the other images I had fewer (not more than 20) and the thumbnails were smaler (140). So that does not make a big difference in this case

It should place the thumbnails in the temp folder... well it does not.
It does not make the folder and if I make it it makes no difference, it just puts the thumbnails in the stories folder.
hmmm.. ???

Aaron

in the plugin's parameter page it says:
Galleries Root Folder /images/stories/
Thumbnails Temp Folder /images/stories/temp/
so that should be right I think.
but all the thumbs go in the stories folder.

Aaron

About the problem of the temp folder
go to the params of the mambot and click on "Save"
Probably the temp path is not saved in database!
About the speed, when the temp folder is empty yes, the load could be a bit long, but after that, the sig pro read the thumbs from the temp folder and the speed its really good!
I see now the site, and the site is loaded in 2-3 secs! ( the images are a lot! )
But if you want, PM me a s.admin account to modify the mambot in mode to count the speed of the creation of the gallery!
Thank you!

I feel really stupid concerning the temp folder. I did not have the problem earlier, but that was because I changed a lot and saved it afterwards ofcourse. For the testing on other servers I just installed it fast and tested it :-[. I did not go in the params window and thus I did not save it. Sorry about this.
Is 2-3 sec normal? In a previous install I had not more then 20 images (but a little bit bigger) and the speed was a little bit worse. I do get more then 2-3 sec though but that is not realy the point (sometimes it does go a little bit faster i must admit). I think that 2-3 sec is still a bit long for a page to start changing, people get annoyed waiting ;)
Here you can see the difference between the pro and free version.
pro: www.natuur-foto.nl/test_site/
free: www.natuur-foto.nl/test_site2/
they are on the same server and same joomla version.
thanks,
Aaron

Can you PM me a s.administrator account to modify the mambot
I'll insert a time counter at the begging and at the end of the creation of the gallery
to see how many time take to create it!
Thank you!

Also i saw the sites with free and pro version!
Well the site with the free needs ( at my computer of course! :) ) 10 sec!
I believe cause the images are a lot and cause the free create any time, and on the fly the thumbs!
At the site with the pro, i need 2 sec to see the gallery! Probably cause the caching of the thumbs...
Well, to be sure for all that need to put a timer in the mambot to count how many time needs to load the gallery! ;)
Thank you!
