This may be simple but not so far. How do you search for a gallery in "site galleries". Here is the problem. It is easy to find a gallery searching with "media manager" but when I find the right gallery i CANNOT find a way to add more pictures to it. If somebody can tell me how to add a photo to a gallery thru there I am all set.
I can add when found thru site gallery button but I have no way to quiery the galleries thru there.
Make any sense?
Thank you

Many have read this but either I am asking a bad question or nobody knows the answer? Is there a way to find the name of a given gallery in the "site galleries" tab?
OR is there a way to add pictures to a chosen gallery in the "media Manager" tab?
I can add photos in the Site galleries tab when I open a gallery. The problem is with hundreds of galleries on my site(e commerce), there is no search feature.
site is walttools.com
Thanks

Hello,
You can add photos using multiple ways
a) Only for K2: You can batch upload images using a zip file through the gallery tab.
b) You can use the component's interface and add image manually into each gallery
c) In the media manager you can right click and use the upload feature.
Unfortunately to answer your other question, currently there is no filtering (or search) method in the component.

The right click is what I thought of course. When I do that and try to upload a photo jpeg, I only get an error message that the "file type is not allowed". It only allows a text file. Can you please try and confirm?

I cannot verify this on my end.
Are you talking about the frontend or the backend?

How about png, gifs and jpgs?
Also can you upload the same file through Joomla!'s media manager?

Media manager is where the problem is. No photo files can upload.

I meant Joomla!'s media manager. Joomla! has a separate media manager (not SigPro's or K2's media manager which is based on elFinder).
